Reviews and Ratings
The hotel has some aspects to improve, like the slightly run-down look of the rooms and the industrial cleaner smell, but it still offers a comfortable stay. The presence of insect spray in every room is a thoughtful addition. I am looking forward to returning for my wedding anniversary.
The hotel was beautifully presented and comfortable, with accommodating staff. A great spot to enjoy the setting sun with a drink. However, the clouded glass window visible from the hallway could be off-putting.
Stepping into the garden room felt like a luxurious journey to the past with wonderful views of the surrounding area. The cleanliness and spaciousness were exceptional, but some modernization could enhance the overall experience. The service was a mix of excellent professionalism and occasional unprofessional remarks, with a standout new employee from Vietnam who was incredibly helpful and charming. The location offered incredible amenities like tennis and easy access to nearby wineries, although the decor could use a bit of updating. The dining experience, particularly the traditional shabu-shabu, was excellent, with room for improvement on the pricing. Overall, a beautiful hotel with fantastic vistas and courteous staff.
I was upgraded to the Premier Suite, which was a lovely surprise. The grandeur of the hotel from the exterior to the interior was impressive, though there were some minor maintenance issues in the room. The main restaurant hosted a lively party during my stay, adding to the vibrant atmosphere.
Stepping into the hotel felt like a journey back in time to a luxurious past, but the room had some issues like noise from upstairs. The service was fabulous, with just a couple of unprofessional remarks. The location, though lovely, could use some modernizing. Dining with a garden view was a delight, and the food was excellent.
Staying at the hotel was a mixed experience. The Premier Suite was gorgeous, but the room had a stale odor. The staff was friendly but overly nice at times. The location in the heart of wine tasting vineyards was picturesque, though one needs a dedicated driver due to strict drink driving limits. The dining was delightful with a view of the gardens, yet pricing was a part of the room rate.
